08-09-2007Post From The Dead
Ghostland Observatory put on an excellent show Friday. Electronic dance rock at it's finest. And the lead singer definitely had the (ambiguosly gay) moves to back it up.

We need some damn events this summer! It seems like I've been doing everything at the absolute last second. Although, I haven't had a lot of time to do much planning.

How bout another outdoor excursion of sorts? New York was pretty sweet. Speaking of which, I've got a lot of video...just need to get that up.

This past week I've had to face a lot of frustrations toward forces beyond my control, you know, family, money, blah blah blah. I'm venting a lot of that in other ways though so I think I'm managing pretty well. I feel kinda bad about the dead hookers and everything but...wait, no i don't, hahahaha!

There's talks of moving into a bigger living space at the end of the lease here. This could mean bigger and potentially louder partays. You won't want to miss that, you damn lush...so stay tuned.

06-07-2007Other Anniversaries
Many things have happened in the last week or so. For example, on the 3rd, Sarah and I celebrated 3 years with lunch and a movie. I'd like to take this moment to thank her for not trying to kill me yet after all these years, because of course I, instead, would be forced to kill her in the struggle, which I don't want to do because she's a good girl and all. Let me say this though, Sarah would definitely make a HOT and VULNERABLE corpse.

Also, our graduation party here was splendid. Thanks to all who attended. For those who didn't attend though...you'll get yours Greg...oh yes...you shall feel the winds of wrath upon you! But they won't be winds, oh no, they will be the gentle nudge of a billion microscopic locusts chewing at the very fibers of your molecular composition! Over time...this will begin to hurt...BAD! Anyways, I put up a really boring video clip from it. Mostly, this was just to get some use out of the new camcorder i bought. Check it out here if you'd like.

05-15-2007Sarma Anniversary
Today marks one year in business and employed with Sarma. Most months have barely cut the margin of paying costs and salaries, but nonetheless, there's been a huge flow of steady work throughout the year, and growth through channel partners appears to be very near on the horizon. All in all, most startup companies could only DREAM of having such success in their first year, especially with absolutely no outside investment money or advertising of any kind.

The issue of having too much work and not enough manpower is becoming more and more of a problem. It's not quite enough to face the risk of hiring another employee, and consultants are generally too expensive to resell. So it comes down to either finding someone willing to do contract work at a decent price or outsourcing to a cheaper labor force, which never seems to yield positive results from my experience. If anyone knows of an excellent php developer desperate for some side work...let me know.

04-24-2007Credit Where Credit is Due
I have been approved for my first un-secured credit card. It is a landmark victory over the forces in life which try so hard to hold me down. I owe this to 4 years of patience and following people's advise with little to no progress, and to my own countless hours of online research. I can finally take the mighty plunge into the downward spiral of debt known as the "American Dream." Thank you to all who gave me their wisdom.

03-29-2007The Decade
This is the decade of Open Source and Indie Rock. Hand in hand they return us to a time many years ago when garage bands, teenage hackers, and wooly mammoths roamed the open plains.

This proverbial "Golden Age" that conservatives speak of does not exist, because even the people in that imaginary period were dreaming of better times from the past. The present is just as golden as any other time in history, and someday someone is going to be thinking back to this day and wishing times were more like they are now.
